AIM
To determine load consumption profile.
The objective of this assignment is to perform a load measurement of the electric power consumption. The load measurements shall be a reflection of the energy consumption pattern (in kWh) of ALL electrical appliances for an agreed duration.
METHODOLOGY
Measurements of load curves (each phase L1 L2 L3 separately) representing the sum the total load.
The measurements shall be at an interval of 1 minute (or as agreed).
The following data shall be measured every minute for the duration:
- Voltages -u1, u2, u3 are 3-phase voltage[V]
- Currents – i1, i2, i3 are the 3-phase currents [A]
- Power Factor – pf
- Active Power – p[kw]
- Reactive Power – q[kvar],
- Apparent Power – s[kva]
- Frequency
Voltage and Current measurements will show the maximum, minimum and average readings for each minute measurement.
DELIVERABLES
Load profiles in graphical and tabular forms and analysis of readings.
